From 1998 to 2002 John Campbell composed music for each Focus on the Family radio productions of the Chronicles of Narnia. These radio dramas are one of the only productions to have produced all seven of the books. For this reason, and the fact that there is musical consistency throughout each radio drama, I decided to create a website showing the various themes created to bring Narnia to life. That and I also have some serious nostalgia for these audio dramas, with no small amount being because of the musical score. A few notes on the themes: for a theme to be counted, it had to appear at least four times, so themes such as Trees and Emeth still count as a theme. When using audio clips for themes that are in more than one audio drama, I would pick one audio clip for each book, but for themes that are in only one book, I’ve chosen three clips back to back for listeners to hear the themes. All audio clips are between ten and forty seconds.
